12 Jan Mind versus Brain
The mind is greater than the sum of your brain cells:
Wilder Penfield was a Canadian neurosurgeon who performed brain surgery on a thousand patients while they were awake.
He electrically stimulated their brains and elicited responses such as arm movements and seeing light flashes.
He became convinced that the mind was greater than the sum of the brain cells. In all his years of practice he could never electrically stimulate any part of the brain that elicited Intellectual thoughts (abstract reasoning) or will power (desire to do something)
